What we collect
| From Slack | The installer's name and work email. Messages sent to Scout in its DM. Files dropped there. |
|---|---|
| From Instagram | Public profile and post data, fetched through a third-party API. |
We do not read your other channels or DMs.
How we use it
- To find creators and score them against your brief.
- To send you the shortlist and the Excel file in Slack.
- To run the weekly competitor read, if you turn it on.
- To contact you about your account.
The AI part
Your brief and your answers to Scout's questions are read by Google Gemini models on Google Cloud (Vertex AI). Creator scores come from the same models reading public posts.
We never train AI models on Slack data. We do not let others do it either. Under Google Cloud's terms, Google does not use this data to train its models.
AI can be wrong. Scores are Scout's read of each creator's posts, so check before you sign anyone.
Where your data lives
Scout stores its data in Google Cloud in Mumbai, India. AI requests go to Google's Vertex AI global service, so they may be processed outside India. Each workspace's data is kept separate from every other workspace's.
How we protect it
- Tokens are encrypted at rest.
- All traffic uses HTTPS.
How long we keep it
When you remove Scout from Slack, its Slack tokens are deleted at once. Everything else Scout holds for your workspace is deleted 30 days later. Briefs and reports kept in Galvor's creator database are deleted when you ask us to.
Delete your data
To delete your data, email us at support@galvor.ai. Removing Scout from Slack also revokes its access.
